Heya, I'm Paar (they/them), your LGBT+ officer. Part of my role is helping with your welfare.
I'll be holding a weekly drop-in session in the Welfare Office, so if you ever want to talk to someone, whether just to vent your feelings or for seeking help, do come along. The drop in sessions are completely confidential (unless there is a need to share information, but then that is made clear), but don't feel that you have to go to one if you have a problem you want to talk about: feel free to message me on Facebook or over email,, and we can take things from there.
I'll also be organising social events throughout the term so keep a lookout for those!

CUSU LGBT+ is the Cambridge University Students' Union Campaign for LGBT+ students at Cambridge. They seek to represent and support all students who self identify as LGBT+.

The RCSA has established a Gender Expression Fund for trans, non-binary, questioning, and gender non-conforming students to purchase items that they may need for their gender presentation including, but not limited to, binders, packers, wigs, breast forms, concealing underwear.
You can also be reimbursed for trips to and from Gender Identity Clinics for appointments during term time.
This is entirely confidential, and if you want to be reimbursed for a purchase, send me an email or message me on Facebook to give me the receipt. I will anonymise it, send it to the treasurer, and then reimburse you.
You can find the full motion here.
